We were sorry we couldn't make it on Sunday to do the 2nd round of Thanksgiving to be with the Nguyens but we had a great time on Thursday.

We had Mom's turkey soup and I made a potato cheese soup that we had in those enormous soup bowls. Thanks again for everyones help it was so nice to celebrate Crew's Birthday.
I saw this cute cake on Pinterest that looked like a pumpkin and this was my attempt (nailed it) Anyway it tasted fine and that is all that really matters right? We also had cute little cupcake sized bundt cakes for the kids.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Kevin's parents came in to town and we got to spend several days with them. It was really nice the boys truly enjoy spending time with them and we do as well. We went to my parents house for Thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing as usual. Unfortunately the boys both got sick and Connor was up coughing/puking all night long. So we were going to celebrate Crew's birthday the next day but we decided we didn't want anyone getting sick so we postponed and put up our Christmas decorations instead. It has always been my favorite thing since I was a little kid when my Mom would start decorating the house for Christmas and the very best was decorating the tree so I still get excited to do those things and I hope my boys will enjoy it as much as I do. Anyway so then the next Saturday we finally got to celebrate Crew's Birthday. I can't believe it has already been a year since that little angel was born and I am so grateful for his sweet smiley spirit in our home. His smile is infectious and I am so glad to have him a part of our family.
